Twisted is based on a circle composed of four offset quarter circles. As the brush paths are transferred, the pressure is deliberately reduced throughout the movement. This causes the application of paint to gradually decrease, creating a transition from dense to transparent color.

This controlled change in pressure allows the Ottotools to create a three-dimensional appearance within a single pass of color. The vivid and varied color palette reinforces the dynamic quality of the motif, which in its overall effect recalls a rotating propeller. Particularly from a distance, the multitude of brush strokes merge into a clear and powerful circular movement.
