Baton is based on the same principle as Eight in One Stroke: multiple brushes are guided simultaneously, creating a continuous, rhythmic form through their parallel paths.

With Baton, my main focus was to explore the effect of color within this established movement-based principle. A golden-yellow ground meets a gradient ranging from deep dark green to luminous mint green. The warm background creates a strong contrast with the cool green tones, changing the perception and atmosphere of the form. The work explores how a new color combination can transform the character and visual impact of an already established system of movement and form.
